Nonsimultaneous sound I use this sound for my contrasting shot where the sound of a pencil is heard telling the audience to expect when some kind of writing to be soon.

 Sound Bridge this was used with my parallelism scene to further enhance the meaning that the two subjects are connected and heading in the same direction.

 Voice Over this sound effect with simultaneity where I used a scaring voice over to symbolize a scary scene.

 Direct sound the sound that was playing before suggested the passing of time stayed the same.

Film Opening Research #2- Beetle Juice

How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film?       During the opening sequence, there are a total of 5 titles about the movie and production studio and 10 titles address the production cast, not including the actors, however, there are 7 main casting members mentioned.  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?   Throughout the film, the only images shown were those of the community as an establishing shot portrayed the environment leading up to the house. What connotations do the images carry?     The images carry a connotation of a very quiet and lonely environment where there's not that much action. Week 5&6: 5 Master Edits

https://youtu.be/zs_QJUCYRJ0 Contrast shot shows the difference between the use of a pencil, eventually leading to a pen. Parallelism shows the feet of two characters coming from two different locations and eventulally meeting up at the same place. Symbolism shows the icon of a windows 10 then switching to a shot of an actual window. Simultaneity shows different shots switching back and forth with the constant theme of the bear. Leitmotiff involves music being played to enhanced the passing of time.
