I was inspired to make my film about this genre because I'm really drawn to the "dark arts," for example the franchise Nightmare on Elm Street. With the first film in this series, the movie starts out with the introduction of the main character as he begins to make his well-known bladed work glove. The opening scene goes on giving meaning to the movie's title in which another character frantically goes around an abandoned factory being chased by Freddy, after which awaking thinking she was in a nightmare only to realize it may have not just been a nightmare. This film inspired me through its twisted way the antagonist of the movie used something as simples a dream, which is normally a place where someone can go to escape from reality, to attack his victims.
