The Marvel one-shot Agent Carter is about a woman, P eggy  Carter, being f rustrated  at being marginalized at work  and goes  on an unauthorized solo field mission. Throughout these  scenes,  numerous forms of the main elements in creating a film are being used: editing, sound, mise-en-scene, and camera  shots, angles, movement and composition. In the opening  scene  we first see  agent Peggy and  Steve   Rodgers  with the use of  simultaneity  as the exchange their final words. With this editing technique, the audience feels a sense of sadness as the camera  switches  from each character  showing   their   unhappiness  as  Rodger  is  plummeting  to his death saying his final goodbyes.  Accompanied  by this scene is a  synchronous  sound. At the beginning of American Beauty, the setting is portraited as  an ugly shot in a dark, ugly room a kind of visual manifestation of  Lester , the  main character’s,  unease and  discontent.  At work, he is stuck in a boring and meaningless job writing for a media magazine. In these  scenes , Lester is not very happy with his job,  to  him, it is like a prison.   In  the first shot, Lester is meeting with Brad, his company's new efficiency expert. Brad is telling him that his work is not up to standard and that his job is at risk. What's interesting here is how differently the two men are presented. On the topic of  lighting,  its  showcased as low  key, the  room itself is ugly,  un decorated  and very dull and grey. Sound Bridge this was used with my parallelism scene to further enhance the meaning that the two subjects are connected and heading in the same direction. Voice Over this sound effect with simultaneity where I used a scaring voice over to symbolize a scary scene. Direct sound the sound that was playing before suggested the passing of time stayed the same.
